A Holistic Treatment Program That Targets The Root Causes Of Migraine And Minimizes Medication.

Migraine headaches can severely disrupt your daily life. Migraine often presents as a pain concentrated on one side of the head, though it may shift from one side to the other. Accompanying symptoms can include eye pain, pressure on the forehead, light sensitivity, nausea, and vomiting. For women, it is common to experience migraines during menstruation, and the pain can be so debilitating that it hinders both daily activities and sleep.

At Form Recovery and Wellness, our treatment program is designed to address the underlying causes of migraines using a holistic approach while minimizing the use of medication. The program is led by experts in both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Applied Thai Traditional Medicine (ATTM) for maximum effectiveness.

Before And After Your Treatment

Before treatment:

Get enough rest and try to get at least 6 hours of sleep. Ensure you drink enough water; as a general guideline you should aim to drink 30 to 35 milliliters of water for every kilogram of body weight.

After treatment:

Drink at least half a liter of water within 1 hour after the treatment. You might notice bruising at the acupressure or acupuncture points; this is normal and will fade naturally over time. If you underwent cupping therapy, avoid scrubbing the treated area with soap.

An experienced practitioner will diagnose and plan the treatment according to the severity of your condition, ensuring a high level of safety. If herbal medicine is prescribed, our clinic strictly selects products from manufacturers registered with the Thai FDA, ensuring that we adhere to

high standards for quality and safety.

The length of the treatment program varies based on the condition’s severity and duration. Weekly appointments for treatment and symptom monitoring are scheduled for a minimum of six consecutive weeks, following the practitioner’s recommendations.

Individuals who have consistently used strong pain relievers (for over a year) might experience an increase in headache symptoms, occurring approximately 1-2 times during the treatment period.

Each treatment session takes 120 minutes in total, with 60 minutes allocated to Applied Thai Traditional Medicine and another 60 minutes to Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The treatments are not painful, although some patients may experience slight discomfort in the area of the acupuncture points. However, this discomfort is of a relaxing nature. In some cases, there may be slight discomfort or a headache behind the eyes during the treatment, but these symptoms will gradually improve.

The practitioners are Traditional Chinese Medicine doctors and Applied Thai Traditional Medicine doctors who diagnose the condition and plan the treatment together.
